Everything Eleanor in Orange

Here's another card with the beautiful stamp set, Everything Eleanor.

I had a lot of fun with this one, I really love how the orange flowers jump right off the card. The card front is Sahara Sand cardstock. I stamped the En Francais background stamp on it in Soft Suede and the swirls image from Everything Eleanor in Always Artichoke in the bottom corner. Then I tore the edges and sponged with Soft Suede ink, heavily around the edges and lightly in the center. I backed that with a piece of Soft Suede cardstock that had torn edges and had been sponged with Early Espresso ink. The card front was attached to a Crumb Cake card base that had been sponged with Soft Suede ink. I stamped three flower images from the Everything Eleanor stamp set on Very Vanilla cardstock in Black Stazon ink. I used So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango markers to color the flowers, then I cut them out and attached them with Glue Dots.  The greeting, from the Itty Bitty Banners set, is stamped in Early Espresso on Sahara Sand cardstock and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelit. Then I added a Naturals Designer button and a bit of Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta ribbon, both attached with Glue Dots.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

  1. I just came over via Paper Crafters Library. I love the torn edges, especially with the distress inking. It's a beautifully created card.
